Last Saturday, 12th July 2008, three of our students were receiving their Best Student Award with throphy in their respective categories. The guest of honour was the Education Minister himself. The event took place at the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

PASUKAN PENGAKAP SMMG 1019 TELAH MENGADAKAN PERKHEMAHAN DI PANTAI SERASA MUARA PADA 30 MEI HINGGA 1 JUN 2008 YANG LALU SELAMA 3 HARI 2 MALAM. TUJUAN MENGADAKAN PERKHEMAHAN IALAH UNTUK MENGADAKAN UJIAN WORLD BUREAU@ LENCANA KEAHLIAN PENGAKAP DISAMPING BEREHAT DAN MEMBUAT AKTIVITI SEMPENA CUTI SEKOLAH. SERAMAI 30 AHLI PENGAKAP SMMGTERMASUK PEMIMPIN & AJK MENGIKUTI PERKHEMAHAN TERSEBUT.

BERBAGAI AKTIVITI TELAH DISUSUN SEPANJANG PERKHEMAHAN TERMASUK "AMAZING RACE", "BLIND FOLD NIGHT MARCH", "BAN OF BROTHER" DAN JUGA TERMASUK MALAM KEBUDAYAAN IAITU NYANYIAN DAN LAKONAN. PERKHEMAHAN DIAKHIRI DENGAN PENYAMPAIAN LENCANA KEAHLIAN PADA HARI TERAKHIR PERKHEMAHAN.

SMMG dalam Pertandingan Bahas antara sekolah-sekolah menengah & maktab-maktab senegara 2008

Tahun ini SMMG telah mengikuti pertandingan Bahas senegara bagi sekolah-sekolah menengah dan maktab-maktab senegara anjuran Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Othman.  

Setelah berjaya melepasi peringkat saringan, SMMG telah ditemukan dengan Ma'had Islam Brunei pada peringkat separuh akhir.  Pertandigan tersebut telah diadakan di Dewan Raya RTB pada hari Rabu 30 April 2008.  Perjuangan SMMG berakhir diperingkat ini setelah ditewaskan oleh Ma'had Islam.  

Tahniah diucapkan pada pembahas-pembahas kita dan guru-guru pengawas yang terlibat.  Pembahas-pembahas  SMMG ialah Khairul Khairiyah 5C, Dk Seri Liyana 5A dan Naurah Syamimi 5A.
