Lion dance in SMMG
Last Saturday, students of Menengah 1 and 2 were very fortunate to witness a live performance from a lion dance troupe in conjunction with the Chinese new year. The performance was held at the school hall. Present at the event was the school principal accompanied by deputy principals. According to the Chinese, it is believed that lion dance could bring happiness and fortune.

Prefects Leadership Course
Some 40 newly appointed prefects attended a two-day leadership course. In fact they were the first group to enroll for the course which was organized by the discipline Section.
Lots of fun and useful activities were arranged to strengthen the leadership skill of prefects of this school. The course was held within the school compound.

Religiously-involved-SMMG
In continous effort towards promoting the reading culture in this school, a mass Tahlil is held on every last Thursday of every month. The half an hour affair( first period of lesson) was carried out among the muslim teachers and students separately in the morning and afternoon session at the school hall. To acknowledge, TAIB bank has kindly sponsored the "Surah Yassin & Tahlil" book for the school.
